Even though the food selection is not very wide, the coffee and its preparation are the focus here. The place is small, probably better for small groups. The service, quick; plates are not hugely served but adequate. During my visit I was offered with a single choice of coffee bean: a washed Guerrero on a darker roast. Asked for Chemex. It did not disappoint. There are probably better places out there in the world, but this was an excellent experience for the Leon area, and an up and coming place for good breakfast and great coffee.
Without a doubt the best coffee bar in Leon. Extensive coffee menu by methods, the flat white is a must. The bakery is homemade and everything is good. Perfect for breakfast or simply ordering your coffee and bread to go.

One of the best specialty coffees in all of Leon, I highly recommend them, check the hours, sometimes they close a little earlier, the bread is delicious and artisanal, the food incredible! It's small but when you find a place you'll have a great time, the service is truly great! Always with love! Mine is the FlatWhite with whole milk and select seasonal grain! Rich's great team will make you feel at home (Itzel, Romi, Jerze and all the kitchen girls), wonderful people always

Great coffee. Its difficult to find good coffee in Leon. But the espresso at Ameno Cafe is quite good. And the only cafe I've found in Leon that serves Cortdado's. In addition, the food is very good as well. I had a salad which was very fresh and yummy. Highly recommended.
